About Alejandro Stojanovic

 

Alex Stojanovic is a Swiss architect living in New York since 1992. He is a principal in CHcreate and the head of the Design Team based in NYC. Mr Stojanovic has over 25 years of design experience and has participated in multiple design ventures with other international designers over the years. He has a professional degree in Architecture and a Master’s Degree in Architecture (Dipl. Arch. ETHZ) from the Swiss Federal Institute, in Zürich, Switzerland. studied Philosophy at the University of Zurich, Switzerland. He also studied Philosophy at the University of Zürich. His Post-Graduate Studies earned him a Certificate of Advanced Studies on Developing Countries, from the NADEL Institute at ETH in Zürich.

After working for the Austrian Government on development projects in Nicaragua, Central America, he moved to New York City, where, after in several boutique architecture studios, he formed CHcreate.

Over the last 25 years, Mr. Stojanovic worked in projects ranging from institutional, commercial to high-end residential projects in the USA, in Europe, and Central America. Lately, his focus has been driven to developing a comprehensive design approach to the newly found environmental challenges in residential design. Mr. Stojanovic was a Visiting Scholar in International Development at SIPA, Columbia University. He has coordinated multidisciplinary projects for an Urban Development Plan for Granada, Nicaragua and has participated in Urban Development Forums for Pahar, Kalimpong, India. Presently in NYC his projects are mainly focused on high-end residential design.
